Launch Workshop

Intergenerational Justice and Family Welfare

Tuesday 3 July 2012

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society

28 Queens Street,  Edinburgh EH2 1JX

This workshop launches the Mind the (Housing) Wealth Gap research project which is supported by the Leverhulme Trust. At this early stage of the research process the workshop aims to gather an interested network of experts in the field of asset based welfare and inter-generational transfers. We seek to openly discuss our research plan and welcome external feedback on our research design, methodological approach and theoretical perspectives. Hence, the participants have a stake in finalising the research direction of the three year project. The aim of the meeting is to set a knowledge exchange between experts in academia in motion that benefits on the one the research process of the project and on the other gives experts access novel research findings. This interactive process will be  facilitated by a series of group discussions.

The programme can be downloaded here.

The workshop is aimed at selected experts in the field with some limited places available for the public. If you are interested in the topic please contact Stephan Köppe to book a place (
